01 / The idea

Many disciplines. One shared project record.

Van Iersel BV designs, manufactures and installs façade solutions in aluminium and steel. We are developing a company platform around the people and processes behind that work. The goal: one shared project record, carrying product choices, drawing revisions, agreements and progress from the first request through to handover. This case presents the scope of the development programme.

Turn technical choices into a well-founded quotation.

Profiles, glazing, hardware, finishes and dimensions all influence a façade product. The configurator under development is designed to bring those choices together with product rules and calculation. The aim is a clear quotation whose technical basis remains available for engineering and work preparation, with a second-person review before approval.

03 / From the drawing board to the building site

Every handoff starts with the right information.

Which drawing has been approved? Is the project ready for production? What still needs attention on site? The platform is being designed around these handoffs. Revisions, checklists and approvals belong to the same record. Barcode-linked elements connect production progress to the project, while transport, installation and outstanding items lead towards a complete handover record.

NEXUS & the company-specific environment

AI prepares. People decide.

The intended role of NEXUS is to work with the project context: flag missing information, suggest next steps and prepare drafts. People review proposals and approve changes. Drawing approvals and formal handoffs remain human decisions. We are shaping the environment around Van Iersel’s workflow, with Skyeos Core as the technological foundation.
